Transportation Logistics
To assist attendees with travel arrangements, on the morning of Tuesday 6th December
we will facilitate collection points at Nottingham East Midlands Airport, Derby Train Station
and the 6 designated hotels. Assistance will be available at these locations.
The coach will then transport delegates directly to the Conference Venue at Rolls-Royce.
Delegates arriving on Monday 5th December please note that no transportation
will be provided.
The nearest airport to Rolls-Royce Derby
is Nottingham East Midlands which is around a 15-20 minute taxi/coach journey away.

If you arrive at East Midlands Airport on Monday 5th December, Checker Cars are the
taxi company operating at the airport and can be contacted on +44 1332 814000 or
bookings@checkercars.com. To avoid any delays, we recommend that you pre-book prior
to arrival.
Or, if you are travelling on Monday 5th December to Derby Train Station you will find
the taxi rank outside the station with taxis available to transport you to your hotel.
Those delegates with accommodation at the Best Western Midland Hotel and European Hotel
should be aware that these hotels are only a 10minute walk from Derby Train Station.
The remaining hotels (Thistle, Hilton, Novotel and Holiday Inn) will be a 20 minute taxi
journey.
Birmingham International Airport is also close by and takes about 1-1½ hours journey
by train to Derby and involves one change at Birmingham Central Station.
